Come along to hear Ali Watts have a chinwag with Meg Bignell about her latest book, The Good Losers. This gem is set in the beautiful-but-challenging northern Tasmania and dives into the comical chaos of an elite rowing club. Our heroine, Callie March, suddenly finds herself knee-deep in the early morning madness of parent duties, relentless fundraising, and a cast of utterly insufferable rowers. And just when she thinks she's got a handle on it all, she discovers something a bit dodgy happening in the rowing shed. It's time for Callie to shake things up, or risk sinking the whole ship.

Expect a delightful mix of laughs, some strong language, and the typical heartaches of life—plus a good dose of Meg's trademark feminist vibes. Spoiler alert: there are plenty of laughably bad winners and some truly admirable losers. And if you're keen on snagging a copy, books will be up for grabs courtesy of Farrells Bookshop.
