If you're a girl with a fascination for whales, dolphins, and all things marine, then mark your calendar for the Cetacean Sisters Workshop. It's like a beach party, but instead of sunscreen and sandcastles, you'll be diving into the world of cetacean science, which is just a fancy way of saying you'll be learning about some seriously cool sea creatures. Taking place from January 20th to 24th, 2025, at the scenic Mount Martha Community House, this event promises to be an excellent opportunity for aspiring female scientists to gather, learn, and connect—just without the mermaid tails.

Over the course of five two-hour sessions, you'll be soaking up knowledge in some of the loveliest coastal areas around Phillip Island and the Mornington Peninsula. And for a reasonable price of $600, you can join a group of like-minded girls who are equally keen on exploring the mysteries of the ocean. So grab your thinking caps and maybe a snack or two, because this isn't just any workshop—this is where future scientists can let their inner oceanographers shine.
