Graeme Connors, that fella who has been penning songs for half a century, is making his way to Frankston for an evening of his lyrical tales. He is celebrating fifty years in the music game with his 'My Lyrical Life' tour, which sounds like it is more of an intimate affair than his usual big band festival gigs. Expect to hear the story songs he has tucked away, the ones that might not normally get an outing with all the bells and whistles.

Apparently, this wordsmith has put together a book, also called 'My Lyrical Life', which is absolutely chock full of 217 songs he has written. Some of these have even been recorded by other well known types like Slim Dusty and John Denver. This particular performance is happening at Cube 37 on Thursday 7 August 2025, starting at 7:30 PM and wrapping up by 9:50 PM. Tickets are 75 dollars for adults, 70 dollars for concessions, and 50 dollars for kids under sixteen, with a family pass available for 220 dollars.
