Get ready to unleash your inner Picasso while playing nature's art supplies. Join the multi-talented Katherine Marmaras in a creative adventure where old sticks and leaves become your best buddies as you craft a piece of artwork on a canvas made of, well, nature itself. While you're getting your hands a bit dirty, you'll also get a chance to peek at The Ecologies Project exhibition, where you'll see some head-scratching art that tackles climate change – something we all probably ponder over our morning brews.
This is not just about making pretty things; it's also about transforming those fallen branches and mysterious rocks into art that pays homage to our environment. Young artists aged 8 to 15 are invited to join in the fun and embellish their natural treasures with patterns and textures that'll impress even the toughest critics – like your dog. Make sure you wear clothes that you don't mind turning into a canvas themselves, because things are bound to get a bit wild. It's all happening on January 6, 2025, from 11 AM to 1:30 PM at MPRG in Mornington, and it's just 20 bucks for a ticket to this eco-friendly escapade. Who knew being messy could be so meaningful?
