Join the fun during NAIDOC Week at the Mornington Peninsula's Community Art Spaces, where First Nations artists and young talents are putting their best foot forward. You'll get to check out the work of none other than local superstar Sammy Trist, a proud Taungurung woman who mixes tradition with a splash of innovation. Her ochre paintings and storytelling are sure to tickle your imagination. With over 30 years in education under her belt, she's all about making connections, sparking learning, and boosting cultural pride.

And if you've been wondering what the kids are into these days, Sammy's got you covered with pages from her popular Wonga colouring book. This gem was crafted in collaboration with MPRG and these pages introduce little ones to the Kulin Nation's language while taking a peek at local plants and flora. So come on down for a free peek that's bound to inspire a whole new appreciation for our beautiful local culture. Just swing by the Mornington Library foyer on Vancouver St from July 8 to August 19 and enjoy.
