If you thought planting a winter vegetable garden was a job for those chilly months, think again. Our friendly maritime climate on the Mornington Peninsula dishes out some fantastic cool season vegetables, even when the sun's making a lazy exit for the year. But to get the veggies out in winter, you've got to get your act together in summer or early autumn. This isn't just a 'pop a seed in the dirt and hope for the best' situation.

Join biodynamic farmer Robin at this workshop, where you'll learn which veggies and herbs are perfect for that winter cheer and how to keep your harvest rolling in right through late autumn and beyond. From brassicas to root veggies, prepare for a veggie chat that might just inspire you to turn your garden into a winter wonderland, minus the snow. Just bring your bare hands and a tenner for the entry, or five bucks if you're on concession. It's a small price for a wealth of knowledge, and your future self will thank your summer self for it.
