Gather your mini Picassos and budding J.K. Rowlings for a book-making adventure led by the fabulous Ailsa Wild, who hails from Melbourne and knows a thing or two about turning ideas into pages. In this workshop, kids aged 8 to 12 will dive into the art of crafting their very own 8-page marvel. With art supplies galore and the gallery as their muse, they'll learn how to spin their real-life escapades into imaginative tales and eye-catching illustrations. It's a chance for little ones to unleash their creativity and maybe even scribble down the next big bestseller—who knows?

Parents, you're welcome to join the fun as co-creators, but it's not mandatory—unless you've secretly always wanted to flex your artistic skills. The workshop will run on July 8, 2025, from 10 AM to noon at the MPRG in Mornington, and for just $20, all materials are included, so no need to raid the craft cupboard at home. Just come along and let your kids' creativity flow, while you might just discover your hidden talent for doodling.
