Melbourne crime writer Lyn Yeowart is swinging by Mornington Library for a casual yarn about her latest book, The Hollow Girl. If you're into thrillers that sneak up on you like a plot twist in the fog, this could be your cup of tea, especially since it's drawn from some gritty slices of Australian history that hit close to home.

The story takes its cues from the forced adoptions epidemic and those old institutions for unmarried mothers, which messed with countless lives, including that of Lyn's good mate whose experiences basically kickstarted the whole chilling narrative.
