Michael Beets and the HERE & NOW crew are turning Cube 37 into a makeshift high-tech studio, where local Frankston youngsters, looked after by proper industry types, will bash out a full feature film on the spot, shooting, editing, scoring, and projecting it all live.

Sticking to the Dogma of Live Cinema rules means no sneaky pre-recorded bits or do-overs, so every edit, camera wobble, and stray note gets beamed out as it happens. Its basically theatre, film, and telly mashed together on a high wire with no net below, which should make for some memorable stuff if the kid holding the boom mic doesnt drop it.
