Fancy a yarn with some local artists at Baluk Arts on 5 Davies Avenue in Mount Eliza. Theyre showing off their cultural tricks on Thursday 8 January 2026 from 10am to 4pm with Ashleigh Pugh and Wednesday 14 January 2026 same hours with Andrea Cowling. Pop in for free and watch them at work their pieces are up for sale if something catches your eye.

Ashleighs a Noongar descendant from Whadyuk Country who plays with pyrography acrylics jewellery sculptures and painting on whatever folks have chucked out turning trash into treasure without breaking a sweat. Andrea a Gunditjmara woman right from the Peninsula crafts woven bits that are perfectly imperfect full of light and shade like natures own cheeky doodles.
