The Shitthropocene is a wry documentary that pokes fun at our daft obsession with hoarding stuff, chucking it out, and grabbing replacements in this era of endless junk and overflowing bins. Its got that dark humour about products designed to croak early, waste mountains nobody thinks about, and us lot treating shopping like a badge of honour. Quietly prods you to ponder if hanging onto what youve already got might not be the worst idea.

Screening on Wednesday 13 May 2026 from 7pm to 8:30pm at Cube 37, 37 Davey Street, Frankston. Full price $15, concession $10.
