Sohere's the thing. On Saturday the 27th of June 2026, a bunch of people are going to put on fancy masks and walk down a red carpet at Mornington Racecourse, all in the name of keeping local schools and community groups stocked with free suicide prevention education. It's called the , and while the cause is serious, the evening itself is meant to be a bit of a laugh: think entertainment, a bit of indulgence, and the chance to feel very mysterious for a few hours. You don't need a secret identity, but you do need a mask, which you can either bring yourself or pick up on arrival for twenty bucks if you order one with your ticket.
The whole shebang runs from 6.30pm to 9.30pm, and the vibe is formal masquerade, so aim for something you'd wear to a slightly more glamorous version of a Halloween party. Your host is MC Brodie Young, and the entertainment includes Australia's leading female magician, Cath Jamison, so expect some genuinely impressive trickery. Tickets are $165 per person, or you can grab a table of ten for $1,550 if you've got a squad who's keen. Location is the Mornington Racecourse at 320 Racecourse Road, Mornington, 3934. No high-pressure marketing here, just a straightforward heads up that this is happening and you're welcome to join if it sounds like your kind of fun.
