Drop In is basically a chill spot for young locals to come and do nothing in particular, or something mildly interesting, depending on your mood. It is a safe and welcoming space, which is code for no one will judge you for spending two hours sitting on a beanbag staring at your phone, or for attempting to dominate table tennis. There are activities, but you are not forced to participate. You can just socialise, relax, or eat snacks. It is for ages twelve to seventeen, which is a weird age range where you are too old for the playground but too young to drive to the beach unsupervised. This event is free, which means your wallet can stay in your pocket.

It happens on Tuesday the thirtieth of June 2026, from one in the afternoon until five. That is a solid four hours of potential boredom or unexpected fun, depending on who shows up and whether the Wi-Fi holds. The venue is The Corner Youth Hub at 91 Wilsons Road, Mornington, which is easy to find if you know where Wilsons Road is, and not too hard to find even if you do not. So if you are a young person with nothing better to do on a Tuesday school holiday, come along. Or do not. It is your call. But if you do, at least you will be indoors and not annoying your parents.
