School Holidays: Bricks4Kidz Dinosaur LEGO® Building - Mornington

If the winter chill has you considering hibernation, here is an alternative that involves slightly less sleeping and significantly more LEGO dinosaurs. On the first day of July, Mornington Library will host a free session where you can build a motorised Technic dinosaur model from a selection that includes Brontosaurus, Plesiosaurus, T Rex, Velociraptor or Triceratops. It is essentially a Jurassic Park that fits on a table and does not involve any actual running or screaming (though you are welcome to add that yourself if it helps warm you up).

This free activity is aimed at kids aged 7 to 12 who enjoy LEGO and STEM, or just making moving plastic reptiles. Bookings are essential because space is limited and because it is polite. The fun runs from 11am to midday on Wednesday 1 July 2026 at Mornington Library on Vancouver Street. Come along, build something with a motor, and forget about the cold for a while.
