Lookingfor something to do with the kids during the school holidays that doesn't involve them taking over the couch or turning the living room into a demolition derby? MYC Gymnastics has got you covered with their Winter Holiday Program at Mornington (and Western Port if you're closer to that side). They're running two sessions on Wednesday 1 July 2026 at the Civic Centre on Dunns Road, and both are open to members and anyone who hasn't yet discovered the joy of watching a tiny human attempt a forward roll.

For the four and five year olds, there is a 45 minute KinderGym session from 9am to 9:45am, and for the five and six year olds (aka Prep and Grade 1 crowd), a one hour session from 10am to 11am. Expect fun gymnastics activities, games, and challenges that might just tire them out enough for a quiet afternoon. Cost starts at 25 bucks, but you need to pre register because spots are limited and nobody likes a last minute scramble. It runs during the first week of the school holidays, so if you've been staring at the calendar wondering how to survive, this might be the answer.
