If the school holidays are starting to feel like you're the star of your own personal endurance event, then come along to the Rainbow Families Playgroup on Tuesday the 30th of June. It is free and it runs through the break, so you have absolutely no excuse to just stay home staring at the pile of laundry. Our Supported Playgroup and Library teams have put together a relaxed morning where local LGBTIQA+ families can actually chat to other adults while the kids get lost in Storytime and a bunch of activities. No marketing spin here, just a friendly space to hang out.

The session kicks off at 10am and wraps up by 11.30am, which is the perfect length to feel like you've done something productive without wearing anyone out too much. It is at Mornington, 3931, so if you are in or near the area you are in luck. You do need to register a spot, because apparently even free events need a headcount so they know how many snacks to grab. Come on Tuesday 30 June, bring the little ones, and let someone else organise the fun for a change.
